INTERNSHIP @ NAIDUHALL
After my job-shadowing, I completed a one-month internship at Naidu Hall, where my main task was creating an ad script for ChittyThalli, a sub-brand producing traditional Indian garments for young girls. I drew on insights from my shadowing experience, especially the factory processes I had observed, as well as market research on customer perceptions of the brand. By analysing any misconceptions or gaps in what customers knew about the brand, I developed a script that highlighted key strengths and aimed to strengthen the brand’s identity while appealing to a broader audience.
The challenge I faced was creating an ad that appealed to a wide range of audiences, as the brand aimed to broaden its reach. It was difficult to craft something that resonated with older viewers without boring the younger audience. Most importantly, since the brand focused on clothing for young girls, I needed to communicate the brand’s key features to caretakers, the primary decision-makers, who are particularly cautious about what they purchase for their children. Balancing these diverse needs made the ideation process both complex and rewarding.
